Our Mission


Vision Statement:
To honour and commemorate the memory of the courage and heroism of the members of the 11th Parachute Battalion in the Battle of Arnhem and Operation Market Garden during World War 2; to educate the public in the vital role the battalion played in securing the freedoms, alliances and friendships we enjoy today.
Mission Statement:
  1. Develop an online social media community
  2. Work with partners to educate young people in both the UK and the Netherlands
  3. Work with partners to educate the public of the role of the 11th Parachute as part of the 4th Parachute Brigade.
  4. Create a physical memorial in Melton Mowbray to honour the memory of the 11th Parachute Battalion and the roles its members played from the period of World War Two to the present day.
  5. To undertake charitable fundraising in order to achieve our aims, as a nonprofit, charitable organisation
  6. To achieve formal registered charitable status.
